Awarenest Wellness Day
Yoga, aerial yoga, sound healing, sari fitting, Bollywood dance, chai and Indian culture — all in a traditional farmhouse in Noto, Ishikawa. Hosted by Mehak, an Indian instructor who calls rural Japan home.
Where India comes to you, in the quiet of rural Japan.
Why Wellness Day
A real Indian living in a traditional Japanese farmhouse in Noto. That combination doesn't exist anywhere else — and it creates experiences that can't be replicated.
Mehak grew up in Delhi and now lives in Noto. She brings India to you — not a textbook version, but the real thing, through movement, food, conversation and culture.
Saris, Indian interiors, the scent of spices — inside a quiet, centuries-old Japanese farmhouse. The contrast is real, and it's beautiful.
Maximum 8 people. The conversations over chai, the shared experience of trying a sari — the small group size is what makes it feel genuine rather than a tour.
Programs
A weekend afternoon start works well. Choose the depth that's right for you.
A full yoga and healing experience followed by sari, dance, chai and culture. Designed to be worth a two-hour round trip — condensed, intentional, memorable.
Introduction to the farmhouse, and brief introductions among participants.
A 70-minute combination of mat yoga and aerial hammock practice. Mehak guides at the group's pace. All levels welcome.
Singing bowls and healing sounds to close the practice. 20 minutes of stillness and vibration.
Dress in a real sari, learn a few Bollywood moves with Mehak, and capture it all — a full, unhurried hour. Great content for Instagram, even better as a memory.
Handmade Indian chai while browsing Mehak's collection of Indian accessories, jewellery and clothing.
Ask Mehak anything — daily life in India, food, spirituality, what it's like to live in rural Japan as an Indian.
Everything in the Standard Plan, plus a full meal of authentic Indian home-cooked food made by Mehak from scratch. Available as a lunch-first or dinner-close format — a full day of India in rural Japan.
